Frequently Asked Questions

When does my season start?

Depending on the level you registered your player for you will have different start times.

Our travel season (Squirt, 10U, Peewees, 12U, Bantam, 15U) generally starts about the middle of September with preseason clinics. These clinics are designed to get the kids on the ice and skating so they are ready for tryouts.

Our initiation level, non-travel teams (Intro, Termite, Mite, 8U) generally start the second weekend in November. These levels generally will only skate on the weekends.

What if my player has to miss a tryout session for sickness or fall sports activities.

For players who may be injured or have a legitimate conflict causing them to miss more than one tryout session, we will provide additional tryout time during practices to ensure each player has a fair opportunity to showcase their abilities.

Please note that this will be on a limited exception basis and will require proper communication and documentation for the missed tryout dates.

If your player falls into this category, please reach out directly so we can make the necessary arrangements. Contact Brandon Anderson, our ACE Coordinator to discuss these arrangements.

What if I have a consistent conflict with the preseason clinic times?

Players should attend the first session with their assigned group.

If they will have consistent conflicts and want to attend a different session the player should ask the instructor during that first session if a change will be okay. This change request should also be communicated to the ACE Coordinator, Brandon Anderson.
